The second-generation Skoda Kodiaq is finally here. The Czech automaker has launched the SUV in Sportline and L&K (Laurin & Klement) trims, priced at Rs 46.89 lakh and Rs 48.69 lakh, respectively. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom, India.
Similar to its predecessor, the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq comes as a CKD unit and continues to take on the Jeep Meridian, Toyota Fortuner, Nissan X-Trail and the newly-launched Volkswagen Tiguan R Line. Bookings for the new Kodiaq has been commenced nationwide; however, its deliveries will start from 2nd May 2025.

Powering the all-new Kodiaq is the same 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine, paired to a 7-speed DCT gearbox. However, it’s nearly 14bhp more powerful than the old model, while the torque remains unchanged. The motor now generates a maximum power of 204bhp and 320Nm of torque. The AWD drivetrain system is standard. Skoda claims that the new Kodiaq offers an ARAI-rated mileage of 14.86kmpl.
2025 Skoda Kodiaq Design Changes:
Visually, the new Skoda Kodiaq 2025 carries a sharper design language. Up front, it features the new LED DRLs signatures extending into the grille, a more pronounced bonnet and revised bumper with functional air vents. The headlamp clusters with split setup are carried forward from the previous generation.
The top-end L&K trim comes with the newly-designed 18-inch alloy wheels and D-pillar in contrast finish. The Sportline trim gets blacked-out D-pillar garnish along with the blacked-out front grille, wing mirrors, sportier alloy wheels and black rear bumper. It also features new C-shaped taillamps connected via a light bar. While the overall length has increased by 59mm, the width, height and wheelbase remain unchanged.
2025 Skoda Kodiaq Feature Upgrades:
The interior of the new Skoda Kodiaq 2025 is certainly an upgrade. It comes with a completely new dashboard with an integrated new 13-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system and a new 10-inch digital driver’s display with navigation feed. The Sportline has a new three-spoke steering with ‘Skoda’ badge, while the L&K gets two-spoke steering.
