2025 Skoda Kodiaq Launching On 17th April – Price Expectations!

The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq (second-generation) is set to go on sale in India on 17th April 2025. This premium 7-seater SUV lineup will come in two variants – Selection L&K (Laurin & Klement) and Sportline – and will offer seven single-tone colour options. The exterior colour palette includes Race Blue, Magic Black, Velvet Red, Graphite Grey, Bronx Gold, Moon White and Steel Grey. It’s important to note that the Steel Grey is reserved for the Selectrion L&K trim, while the Bronx Gold shade is exclusive for the Sportline.

Premium interior:

The Selection L&K trim will come with the dual-tone Black and Tan interior theme, while the Sportline will have sporty all-black theme. As a flagship SUV, it offers several advanced features including a 13-speaker Canton sound system, wireless phone charger for two smartphones, a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, connected car tech, steering mounted controls with paddle shifters, keyless entry and a panoramic sunroof.

Enhancing its comfort quotient are three zone automatic AC, sidling and reclining second row seats, rear window sunshades and 8-way ventilated and power adjustable front seats with memory function and extended thigh support. Skoda has also packed it with multiple safety features such as Level 2 ADAS suite, electronic stability control, 9 airbags, hill assist and hill descent control, traction control and more.

Power of turbo-petrol!

The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq continues to derive power from a 2.0L turbo petrol engine paired with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. This motor generates a maximum power of 204PS and 320Nm of torque. The SUV offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 14.86kmpl.

Expected pricing & competition:

The official prices of the new Kodiaq will be revealed next week. However, it’s expected to come at a starting price of Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom). In the premium 7-seater SUV segment, it will continue to take on the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian and MG Gloster.
