2025 Toyota Hyryder Launched – Prices, New Features & New Trim

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has received 2025 model year update in India. The updated version of the SUV comes with new features and dual-tone colour schemes. Furthermore, the AWD V trim is now available with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, replacing the previous 5-speed manual transmission. Prices for the 2025 Toyota Hyryder start from Rs 11.34 lakh, which is nearly Rs 20,000 higher than before. One must note that the carmaker hasn’t yet revealed the complete price list for the updated Hyryder lineup.

What Has Changed?

– Starting with the feature upgrades, the higher trims of the 2025 Toyota Hyryder are now available with ventilated front seats, an 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat, ambient lighting and rear door sunshades.

– Features such as LED reading lamps and 15W USB-C charging ports are now standard across the model lineup.

– The updated speedometer has better readability.  

– Toyota has introduced a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and an AQI monitor in select variants of the updated Toyota Hyryder.

– All variants of the 2025 Toyota Hyryder now come with six airbags as standard safety fitment.  

– Select automatic trims are now equipped with the electronic parking brake (EPB).

– The updated SUV lineup comes in seven monotone colour options and four dual-tone shades (with a black roof).

– The new Toyota Hyryder AWD V variant is offered with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, replacing the 5-speed manual transmission.

Same Powertrain Options:

No other mechanical changes have been made to the 2025 Toyota Hyryder. The SUV model lineup continues to come with the 1.5L, 4-cylinder petrol mild hybrid and Toyota’s 1.5L, 3-cylinder strong hybrid powertrain options. While the former has a 12V integrated starter generator, the latter one includes a petrol engine, a 0.76kWh battery pack and an electric motor.

The mild hybrid version delivers a maximum power of 103bhp and 136.8Nm of torque. It comes with both manual and automatic gearbox options. The 4WD system is reserved for the automatic trims. The strong hybrid configuration, with an e-CVT transmission, pushes out a peak power of 116bhp.
