Skoda Auto is all set to launch the new-generation Kodiaq three-row SUV in April 2025. This full-size SUV will come in two trims – Sportline and L&K (Laurin & Klement) – and is expected to be priced premium than its predecessor. The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq will be brought to India as CKD (completely knocked down) unit and then assembled locally. Once launched, the SUV will continue to challenge the Toyota Fortuner and Jeep Meridian.
Skoda Kodiaq RS Launch:
Interestingly, the new Kodiaq SUV lineup will be expanded with a new top-end RS-badged version (Skoda Kodiaq RS) by the end of 2025. This performance variant will receive a few sportier design updates along with the larger brakes. Powering the Skoda Kodiaq RS will be a 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine, pushing out a maximum power of 265bhp and 400Nm of torque. It will come to India as a CBU (completely built unit) and cost higher than its regular version.

Design & Features:
The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq L&K variant was showcased at this year’s Bharat Mobility Show. The SUV features Skoda’s ‘Modern Solid’ design language and appears longer than before, hinting at more cabin and boot space. The Sportline trim is likely to have slightly different design elements than the L&K trim such as the blacked-out elements on the grille, D-pillars and ORVMs instead of chrome and differently designed alloy wheels.
The official feature list of the new Skoda Kodiaq is yet to be revealed. However, this new Skoda 7-seater SUV is expected to offer a fully digital instrument cluster, a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Level 2 ADAS and many more goodies.
