The Volkswagen Tiguan R Line is set to go on sale in India on 14th April 2025, as a replacement to the Tiguan SUV. It’s essentially a sportier and more powerful version of the Tiguan. The SUV features a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine under the hood, delivering a maximum power of 204bhp and 320Nm of torque. Transmission duties are carried out by a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The Tiguan R Line is claimed to achieve 0 to 100kmph in 7.1 seconds and attain a top speed of 229km.

Colour Options:
The new Volkswagen Tiguan R Line will be offered in 6 colour options – Oyster Silver Metallic, Cipressino Green Metallic, Nightshade Blue Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Persimmon Red Metallic and Oryx White Mother of Pearl Effect.
Expected Price:
Booking for the new Volkswagen SUV are already underway nationwide. Prices will be announced on 14th April. However, it’s expected to be cost around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). This sportier version will be based on the top-end trim and come in a single variant.
