The updated Kia Carens is all set to hit showrooms in the coming weeks. However, its official launch date is yet to be announced. The compact MPV will receive a premium upgrade to cater to a wider customer base, with the existing Carens set to be sold alongside the new model. The new 2025 Kia Carens will emerge as a stronger contender to the Maruti Ertiga in the affordable price segment and Toyota Innova Crysta in the premium space.

Official details of the new Kia Carens are yet to be revealed. Here’re all the key details we know so far.
– Major feature upgrades are expected. The new Carens is likely to come with an upmarket interior with features borrowed from the Kia Syros such as the Trinity Panoramic Display setup, a 360 degree camera, a panoramic sunroof and ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite.
– The ADAS suite (if offered) will provide access to several advanced safety features such as lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, parking collision avoidance assist, driver attention warning, high beam assist and more.
– The new model will continue to come with the 6 and 7-seats configuration options. While the former comes with the captain seats in the second row and exclusively available in Prestige (O), Gravity and X-Line trims, the latter setup will be reserved for Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury Plus and X-Line trims.
– The design changes of the 2025 Kia Carens could also be inspired by the Syros. While official details are not available, it’s expected to feature revised bumpers, new alloy wheels, new lighting elements and redesigned LED taillamps connected via a light strip.
– The 2025 Kia Carens will be available with the existing engine options, including a 115PS, 1.5L NA petrol, 160PS, 1.5L turbo petrol and 116PS, 1.5L turbo diesel. Transmission choices will also remain unchanged.
