Bookings for the upcoming MG Cyberster electric sports car have commenced nationwide at a token sum of Rs 50,000. Buyers can pre-book the vehicle through the MG Select premium dealership network, both online and offline. It will be India’s most affordable sports car, with an estimated price of around Rs 60 lakh – Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Cyberster will be sold alongside the MG M9 electric premium MPV via MG Select. Both models will come as a fully imported units. Deliveries of these new MG cars are likely to being in the next couple of months.

The MG Cyberster uses a 77kWh battery pack and an electric motor mounted on the front axle. This configuration delivers a maximum power of 510bhp and 725Nm of torque. This sports car, with an AWD drivetrain system, accelerates 0 to 100kmph in 3.2 seconds. On a single charge, it’s claimed to offer a range of 580km (CLTC cycle).
Global-Spec Cyberster RWD Specs:
JSW MG Motor India might introduce the Cyberster RWD version, featuring a smaller 64kWh battery pack, after analysing market response. The RWD variant comes with a 64kWh battery pack, generating a maximum power output of 310bhp and 475Nm of torque. It does 0 to 100kmph in 4.9 seconds. The Cyberster RWD offers a CLTC-rated range of 501km on a single charge.
Interior & Features:
A large 10.25-inch driver’s display takes centre stage, along with the two 7-inch screens placed on either side. The EV features a flat-bottom steering wheel with an octagonal ‘MG’ logo.
